To use what you are already having, you must appreciate it. Without appreciation, neglect with set in and depreciation and eventual decay will be the ultimate result.
All of us are born with great potential, including you.
Even when you don’t feel that you have what it takes, it does not change the fact that you have fully loaded. Until you wake up to this reality, you will continue punching below your belt. You will never reach the full potential that you were created for.
Focusing on yourself and avoiding distractions from what other people are doing will keep you on the right path. Unfortunately, many fall prey to the desire for quick results that appear to circumvent the process.
Nobody is you, and it is impossible to be somebody else. Therefore, it is more profitable for you to be you. Don’t worry about how far others have gone, because the race is not against others; it is against yourself. When you compete against yourself, you win all the time because you will do better today then you did yesterday — appreciating what you are already having means that you take time to smell the roses.
While it is great to work hard and push yourself, it is equally important to take time off and appreciate what you are already having.
