Do you want to reach your full potential? Then you must drop the junk you are carrying.
It is more comfortable to carry on all sorts of junk because of where you have been and what has happened to you. The broken marriage left some scars and a heavy burden on your shoulders. An abusive parent caused almost irreparable damage, and you are overloaded with the load. Your past failures and sins are weight heavily on you. The guilt of past mistakes is almost impossible to shake off. The burden of unforgiveness, hatred, bitterness, and resentment is weighing you down. You have been eating more than you burn, and now the weight is weighing on you heavily.
While you use clothes are other things to cover the excess weight, you cannot hide because each time you get on the scale, the scales tell you the truth. Your doctor has just said to you that you need to do something about your weight because if you don’t, your life will be cut short.
You must drop all the junk that you are carrying because it will prevent you from reaching your full potential.
Here is how Paul of Tarsus puts it:
Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us,  fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.  Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart. Hebrews 12:1-3
You are running a race and will not win if you insist on carrying junk. Drop it!
The IEM APPROACH is a holistic way of life; the physical and spiritual must be in synergy for real, lasting, and sustainable success.
