Why you must eliminate but

Do you know you have great potential in you? Then you must eliminate BUT if you are ever to reach your full potential. Just because the word BUT is in the English language does not necessarily mean that you should use it. This three-letter word is so dangerous that you must avoid it like the plague. This three-letter word has killed more dreams, destroyed marriages, and recked lives more than anything else under the sun. How many times have you heard somebody or your safe say the following;

I know forgiveness will heal my marriage, but I can’t because the hurt is too much.

I know exercising is good for me, but I m too busy, or I don’t have time.

I know having my own business will Gove me more freedom, but I don’t have the capital.

I know that going back to school will increase my earning power, but I have young children or a job.

I know that moving out of this toxic work environment will increase my productivity, but I may not get another job.

I know pursuing my dreams will bring great joy and happiness, but I am too, short, too tall, too old, too poor, and too rich.

What is your BUT? You need to know it before you can get rid of it.

Each time you use the word BUT whatever comes after that word is what you believe. In other words, what comes before the but does not matter at all. When you say that you know forgiveness will heal your relationship, but you can’t do it because you were badly hurt, what you are saying is that the hurt supposes the need for forgiveness. In other words, you are choosing to hold to the pain and not forgive.

What but does it that it gives you a false sense of justification for not taking the action that you are supposed to take to move in a positive direction.

Of what use is knowing that eating junk food will kill you, but keep eating because, according to you healthier food is too expensive? The bottom line is that if you keep eating junk food, your health will be compromised. But may make you feel good momentarily, but you’re slowly digging a grave for your dreams and eventually your life.

To succeed, you must stop using BUT when it comes to your goals, dreams, and aspirations. All but does is stop you from moving forward.
